    Hi 420benz

I presume that you're referring to the HTC Sensation? If so, then in order to hard reset / factory reset your smartphone you need to:

    1. Pull out the battery of the device and put it back inside (this will evidently force shut down your handset)
    2. Press and hold the volume down button, then press the Power button as well. After a short period of time, your smartphone should turn on. (Do not let go of the volume down button)
    3. Wait for the Android logo to appear. Once it appears you can let go of the volume down button
    4. In the menu that appears, navigate to "Factory Reset" by using the volume button. (tap, not hold).
    5. Once "Factory Reset" is highlighted, press the power button to select the option.

Hope this helped! Remember to back-up your files before factory resetting, if you haven't done so already. All will be lost.
