With the right tools, transferring contacts from an iOS device to an Android-powered smartphone is quite easy. If you happen to own the Pantech Discover and you're looking for easy ways to transfer contacts from an iPhone, then look no further. Below you will find 4 easy ways of getting the job done.

    Transferring iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

iTunes is a very powerful tool and allows you to sync your iPhone contacts with your Android device via the Google account. The transferred contacts will include images, names, emails addresses and all the information you need.

    1. Open iTunes on your PC (if you need to, visit the Apple website and download > install iTunes)
    2. Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB
    3. Once connected, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it to open the summary page
    4. Go to the "Info" tab and mark the check box located next to "Sync Contacts With"
    5. Select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down list
    6. If you haven't done this before, enter your Google account username and password. Otherwise, you can click "Configure" and select a previously added Google account
    7. To allow iTunes to sync your iPhone contacts, click "Apply"
    8. On your Pantech Discover, allow your Google account to sync the contacts with your device. If you need to add the account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"

    Transferring iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

Assuming that you've previously activated the iCloud service on your iOS device, then your contacts are probably backed up onto your iCloud account. These contacts can be imported over to the Pantech Discover by doing the following:

    1. On your computer's Internet browser, visit www.icloud.com
    2. Log in with your iCloud account
    3. Click "Contacts" and select the ones that you wish to transfer
    4. Next, click the icon depicting a cog wheel. It's located in the bottom-left side
    5. Select "Export vCard" and allow your computer to download the resulted VCF file
    6. You can now import the VCF file to "Google Contacts", or alternatively:
    7. Connect your Discover to your computer via USB and copy the VCF file to your phone's "sdcard" directory. Then, open the "Contacts" app, tap "Menu" > "Import / Export" > "Import from SD card" and select the VCF file

Transferring iPhone Contacts With the "My Contacts Backup" App:

My Contacts Backup is an iOS application that allows you to transfer your contacts by backing them up in a VCF file, and sending it to your Android device via email.

    1. Visit the App Store on your iPhone, and download "My Contacts Backup"
    2. Open the application and tap "Backup"
    3. After your iPhone contacts have been backed up, tap "Email". This will create an email containing the VCF backup file
    4. Use your own Gmail address as the recipient for the email, and send it
    5. Switch over to the Pantech Discover and open the email. Download the VCF file in order to import the contacts to your device

Transferring iPhone Contacts With the "Bump" App:

Bump is an iOS and Android app with the help of which you can transfer contacts via cloud. To use this method, you don't need a computer, Bluetooth or NFC, but you need an Internet connection on both the iPhone and the Discover.

    1. Use your iPhone to visit the App Store and download "Bump"
    2. Install the same application on your Discover, via the Google Play Store
    3. Open the app on both smartphones and allow permissions
    4. On the iPhone, swipe until you see the contacts section
    5. Select the contacts that you want to transfer
    6. When the label "Bump now!" appears, you can gently bump the smartphones together
    7. If done right, a "Connect" button will appear on the screen of both devices
    8. Tap the button, and Bump should now begin to share your iPhone contacts with your Android handset
