    Transferring Audio Files from a Computer:

    1. Use the USB cable to establish a connection between your smartphone and your computer
    2. In the Auto-Run window on your computer, click to browse the device's files and folders
    3. Access the Xperia E1's "Internal storage" folder
    4. Open a new Windows Explorer window, and locate the files that you wish to transfer from your computer to your smartphone
    5. Copy the files and paste them onto your phone's "Internal Storage". NOTE: paste the files in the "Music" folder for ringtones, and the "Notifications" folder for notification sounds
    6. Once the transfer is complete, click the "Safely remove hardware" icon located in the system tray
    7. Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
    8. You can now disconnect your smartphone

    Changing the Notification Sound:

    1. After transferring the desired audio files in the "Notifications" folder, open the apps drawer
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. Scroll down to "Device" and tap "Sound"
    4. Under "System", tap "Default notification sound"
    5. Browse through the list of sounds and tap the one you wish to assign. NOTE: your newly added files should appear at the bottom of the list
    6. Tap "Done"

    Changing the Ringtone for All Calls:

    1. Make sure you've transferred the audio files in the "Music" folder
    2. Open the "Settings" menu
    3. Scroll down to "Device" and tap "Sound"
    4. Tap "Phone ringtone" under "Ringtone & Vibration"
    5. Tap the "Music" icon located in the top-right area of the screen
    6. Navigate to the audio file that you want to assign and select it
    7. Tap "Done" to confirm

    Changing the Ringtone for One Contact:

    1. After transferring the audio file(s) in the phone's "Music" folder, tap the "Phone" icon
    2. Go to the "Contacts" tab
    3. Select the contact that you want to edit
    4. Press the "Edit contact" icon located in the top-right corner of the screen
    5. Scroll down to, and tap the "Ringtone" drop-down list
    6. Tap the "Music" icon located in the upper-right corner
    7. Navigate to, and select the audio file that you want to set
    8. Tap "Done" twice to confirm
