Transferring Audio Files from a Computer:

    1. Use the USB cable to connect your LG smartphone to your PC
    2. Tap "Media sync (MTP)" when prompted with the option
    3. On your computer, an "AutoPlay" window should pop-up
    4. From the list of options, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
    5. Open a new Windows Explorer window and navigate to where the audio files are stored on your PC
    6. Copy the audio files, and paste them in your phone's storage. NOTE: for notification sounds, you can paste them in the "Notifications" folder. For ringtones, paste the files in the "Ringtones" folder
    7. Once the files have been copied, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in the system tray
    8. Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
    9. You can now disconnect your smartphone

Changing the Ringtone for All Calls:

    1. After transferring the audio files, tap the "Menu" key while viewing the home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Scroll down to "Device" and tap "Sound"
    4. Tap "Phone ringtone" under "Ringtone & Notifications"
    5. Choose the file that you want to set as your ringtone. NOTE: the audio files copied in the "Ringtones" folder can be found under the "My Ringtones" category

Changing the Ringtone for a Specific Contact:

    1. After transferring the desired audio file to the "Ringtones" folder, open the "Contacts" application
    2. Choose the contact that you wish to edit
    3. Tap "Edit"
    4. From the drop-down menu, tap "Ringtone"
    5. Select the desired audio file and tap "OK"
    6. Tap "Save" to confirm

    Changing the Notifications Sound:

    1. After you've transferred the desired notification sound to the "Notifications" folder, press "Menu" while viewing a home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Tap "Sound" under "Device"
    4. Under "Ringtone & Notifications", select "Notification sound"
    5. Select the file that you want to use as a notification sound. NOTE: the custom notification sounds located in the "Notifications" folder will be found under "My Notifications"
