    Transferring Contacts Using iTunes:

iTunes can be used to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, making it quite easy to transfer your contacts from your iOS device to the Optimus F6. For this approach, you need access to a computer with Internet and iTunes installed.

    1. Open iTunes on the computer
    2. Use the iPhone's USB cable to connect it to the computer
    3. Once connected, the handset will appear in iTunes. Click it
    4. From the summary page, go to the "Info" tab
    5. Mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
    6. From the drop-down menu, select "Google Contacts"
    7. Type in your Google account and password if you haven't registered an account before. Otherwise, you can go to "Configure" and pick an existing account
    8. Click "Apply" and iTunes will commence the syncing process
    9. Once done, register the same account on the Optimus F6, and allow Google to sync contacts with your Android device. NOTE: if you need to add an account, go to the "Settings" menu and tap "Accounts"

    Transferring Contacts via iCloud:

The iCloud backup service offers the possibility to export contacts in a vCard file. If you've used iCloud on your iPhone before, then your contacts are most likely backed up on your iCloud account. To transfer them, you need access to a computer with Internet.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Log in with your account and tap "Contacts"
    3. Select the contacts that you want to share
    4. When ready, click the "Settings" icon located in the lower-left side
    5. Click "Export vCard" and wait for your computer to download the VCF file
    6. Import the file to "Google Contacts". Alternatively, connect the Optimus F6 to your computer via USB, and copy the VCF file to the phone's "sdcard" directory. Then, launch the contacts app, go to "menu" and choose to import files from the storage / SD. Select an account, pick the VCF file and that should be it

Transferring Contacts using "My Contacts Backup":

You may have noticed that the two methods above require access to a computer. If you need to transfer your iPhone contacts without connecting to a PC, then you can do so with the help of applications such as "My Contacts Backup". With this app, you can back up your iPhone contacts in the form of a VCF file and send it via email.

    1. Visit the App Store and download "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
    2. Open the app and tap "Backup"
    3. Once the VCF file is created, tap "Email" to attach it to a new email
    4. Send the email to your own Gmail address
    5. On the Optimus F6, open the email and download the vCard file to import its contents through the contacts application

    Transferring Contacts using "Send Anywhere":

Last but not least, you can use Send Anywhere (an iOS and Android app) in order to transfer your contacts through a P2P connection. For this method you don't need access to a computer, but you are required to install the app on both devices.

    1. Visit the Play Store and download "Send Anywhere" on your Optimus F6
    2. From the App Store, download the same app on your iPhone
    3. Launch the app on both devices
    4. Tap "Send" on the iPhone, and select "Contacts"
    5. Choose the contacts that you wish to share, and press "Send"
    6. Select the desired method of transfer. By tapping "Generate QR Code", you can generate a code that can be scanned with your Optimus F6's camera in order to commence the transfer. You can also tap "Receive" on the Android device, and type in the transfer code that has been generated on the iPhone randomly
