    Transferring Contacts Through iTunes:

While iTunes is a great music player and a place to buy your favorite music digitally, the application is also a great syncing tool for your phone. Using iTunes, you can sync your iPhone's contacts with a Google account, and synced items include contact images, emails, addresses, notes and any other details. For this method you are required to have access to a computer with iTunes installed, and an Internet connection

    1. Launch iTunes on your PC
    2. Connect your iPhone to the computer using the proprietary USB cable
    3. Your iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it to open the device's summary page
    4. Access the "Info" tab, and place a check mark next to "Sync Contacts With"
    5. Choose "Google Contacts" from the drop-down list
    6. Enter your Google account log in details. Optionally, if you've registered a Google account prior to following this guide, you can click "Configure" and select an existing account
    7. To commence the syncing process, click "Apply"
    8. On the Xperia T2 Ultra, register the same account as the one used in iTunes. To add an account, you need to access "Settings" > "Accounts"
    9. Allow Google to sync contacts with your Xperia smartphone

    Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

Assuming that you've used the iCloud service on your iPhone before, your contacts should have already been backed up on your iCloud account. By accessing your account using a computer's Internet browser, you can export these contacts in the form of a vCard file. To do so:

    1. Launch your computer's Internet browser and visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Sign in with your iCloud account
    3. Click "Contacts" and mark the contacts that you wish to export
    4. Click the icon depicting a cog wheel (lower-left), and select "Export vCard"
    5. Wait for the VCF file to be downloaded on your computer
    6. Use "Google Contacts" to import the VCF file, or connect your Xperia T2 Ultra to your computer via USB and copy the vCard in the "sdcard" directory. Then, open the "People" app, tap "Menu" > "Import contacts" > "SD card", select the location where you want to store the contacts, and pick the vCard file

Using "My Contacts Backup" to Transfer Contacts:

"My Contacts Backup" is an iOS application that gives the user the option to back up his / her iPhone contacts, and transfer them to a different device via email. For this method you don't need access to a computer.

    1. Install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone, from the App Store
    2. Open the application and tap "Backup". This will create a backup file containing all of your iPhone contacts
    3. After the VCF file is created, tap "Email" to attach it to a new email
    4. In the "To" field, enter your Gmail address and send the email to yourself
    5. On the Xperia T2 Ultra, open the email and download the attached vCard file
    6. Import the file's contents by opening the "People" app, tapping "Menu" > "import contacts" > "SD card"

    Transferring Contacts through "Send Anywhere":

If you don't have access to a computer, you can also use the "Send Anywhere" app in order to transfer your contacts through a peer-2-peer connection. Send Anywhere is an iOS and Android application, and can be used for contact transfer as follows:

    1. Visit the Play Store and download "Send Anywhere" on your Xperia T2 Ultra
    2. From the App Store, install the same app on your iPhone
    3. Launch the application on both handsets
    4. On the sender device (iPhone), tap "Send" > "Contacts"
    5. Mark the contacts that you want to share with your Android device
    6. When ready, tap "Send"
    7. Select the desired method of transfer. By tapping "Generate QR Code", you can create a QR code that can be scanned with the T2 Ultra's camera in order to commence the transfer. Alternatively, you can tap "Receive" on the Sony smartphone, and type in the randomly generated transfer code from the iPhone
