    The only encryption I'm aware of is authenticating things between the SIM and the mobile network. Is that what you mean? If you're able to decrypt that data you can more easily clone sim cards. This is a feature that all SIM cards and networks have to prevent cloning which would allow someone to do all things that another phone can do or hijack an account.
