    Transferring Ringtones (Audio Files) From a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Samsung Galaxy S5 to the computer via USB
    2. Swipe the "Status" bar down
    3. Tap "Connected as a media device" > "Media device (MTP)"
    4. On the computer, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
    5. Open a secondary Windows Explorer window and navigate to where the audio files are stored on your computer
    6. Copy the desired audio files and paste them on your phone's storage
    7. Once the transfer is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone from the computer

    Transferring Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

    NOTE: follow the first 2 steps only if you don't have Kies installed on your Mac computer

    1. Launch the Internet browser on your Mac and visit Kies
    2. From the webpage, click "Download for Mac OS" and follow the on-screen instructions to install Kies
    3. Use the USB cable to connect the SGS5 Active to your computer
    4. Swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device" > "Media device (MTP)"
    5. Launch Kies on the Mac
    6. Click the "Folder" icon associated with "Internal memory" or "External memory"
    7. Navigate to where you wish to transfer the audio files on your phone
    8. On the computer, locate the audio files that you wish to transfer
    9. Drag the audio files, and drop them in Kies
    10. Once the process is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone from the Mac

    Adding Music Files to the Ringtone List:

    1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Tap "Settings" > "Sound"
    3. Tap "Ringtones" under "Ringtones and Notifications"
    4. Tap "Add" and complete the operation with "Dropbox" or "Sound picker"
    5. Select "Always" or "Just once"
    6. Tap the desired audio file and tap "Done"

    Changing the Smartphone's Ringtone:

    1. Launch the apps drawer
    2. Tap "Settings" > "Sound"
    3. Under "Ringtones and notifications", tap "Ringtones"
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap "OK"

    Changing the Notification Sound:

    1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Tap "Settings" > "Sound"
    3. Select "Notifications" under "Ringtones and notifications"
    4. Tap the desired notification sound
    5. Press "OK" to confirm
