Managing Contacts

Adding a Contact to the Phone Book:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application
2. Access the "Contacts" tab
3. Press the "+" button
4. Select to save the contact on the "SIM card", "Device", "Google" or "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"
5. Enter the contact's phone number in the appropriate field
6. Type in the contact's name
7. Enter any additional details as you see fit
8. Tap "Save" when ready

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Tap the "phone" icon while on the home screen
2. Tap the "Keypad" tab if necessary
3. Press the "Menu" button located in the upper-right corner
4. Tap "Speed dial"
5. Tap the number that you wish to use for speed dialing
6. Tap the contact that you wish to assign to the speed dial number

Deleting Contacts:

1. Tap the "Contacts" app located on the home screen
2. Access the "Contacts" tab and press the "Menu" key
3. Tap "Delete"
4. Mark the check box associated with contacts that you wish to remove
5. Tap "Done" > "OK"

Contact Import / Export

Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SIM Card:

1. Open the "Contacts" application
2. Go to the "Contacts" tab and press "Menu"
3. Tap "Settings" > "contacts"
4. Tap "Import / Export"
5. Perform one of the following:
   
   • To export contacts to the SIM card:
     
     1. Tap "Export to SIM card"
     2. Choose the contacts that you wish to export, or tap "Select all"
     3. Tap "Done" > "OK"
   • To import contacts from the SIM card:
     
     1. Tap "Import from SIM card"
     2. Select an account where you wish to import the contacts
     3. Mark the check boxes next to the contacts that you wish to import, or tap "Select all"
     4. Tap "Done"

Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SD Card:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application and then tap the "Contacts" tab
2. Press the "Menu" key
3. Tap "Settings" > "Contacts"
4. Tap "Import / Export" and then perform one of the following sets of steps:
   
   • To import the contacts from the SD card:
     
     1. Tap "Import from SD card"
     2. Select the location where you wish to import the contacts
     3. Choose to "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
     4. Tap "OK"
     5. Select the vCard file and then tap "OK"
   • To export contacts to the SD card:
     
     1. Tap "Export to SD card"
     2. Touch "OK" to confirm

Managing Caller Groups

Creating a New Caller Group:

1. Tap the "Contacts" shortcut located on the home screen
2. Access the "Groups" tab located under "Favorites"
3. Tap "Create" and enter the desired name for the group
4. Tap "Add member"
5. Mark the check boxes associated with the contacts that you wish to add
6. Tap "Done" > "Save"

Adding Contacts to a Caller Group:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app
2. Go to the "Groups" tab
3. Select a group and tap the "+" button
4. Mark the contacts that you wish to add to the group
5. Tap "Done"
