    Backing Up Applications:

    1. Tap "Apps" while viewing the home screen
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
    4. Mark the "Back up my data" check box and you're done

    Backing Up Contacts:

    1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. Swipe to "Personal" and then tap "Backup & reset"
    4. Tap "LG Backup service" > "Backup"
    5. Choose to save the backup on the "Internal storage", "SD card" or "Cloud"
    6. Tap "Next" and select "Personal data", while deselecting any other options
    7. Open the "Personal data" folder and make sure that "Contacts" is selected
    8. Tap "Next" > "Start". The backup process will begin an can take several minutes to complete
    9. Once the "Back up completed" message pops-up, tap "Done"

    Backing Up Data to the SD Card:

    1. Tap "Aps" while on the home screen
    2. Go to "Settings" and scroll down to "Personal"
    3. Tap "Backup & reset" > "LG Backup service"
    4. Tap "Backup" and select "SD Card"
    5. Tap "Next" and select the items you want to back up
    6. Tap "Next" again and press "Start" to begin the process
    7. When "Backup completed" pops-up, tap "Done"

    Backing Up Media Files Using Your Smartphone:

    1. Tap "Apps" and go to "Settings"
    2. Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
    3. Tap "LG Backup service" > "Backup"
    4. Select to back up the data on the "SD card", "Internal storage" or "Cloud"
    5. Tap "Next" and mark the "Media data" option, while deselecting the rest
    6. Expand the "Media data" folder and select the desired media files
    7. Tap "Next" > "Start"
    8. Once the files have been backed up, tap "Done" at the "Back up completed" message

    Backing Up Media Files on a Computer:

    1. Establish a USB connection between your LG G3 and computer
    2. If / when prompted, mark the "Media sync (MTP)" option on the LG G3
    3. On the PC, an AutoPlay window should pop-up. From there, click to browse the device's files and folders
    4. Navigate to the desired media files stored on your phone, and copy them
    5. Go to the desired backup location on your computer's HDD, and paste the files there
    6. Once the process is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone by clicking the media storage device icon in the system tray
