Using a Google Account to Transfer Contacts:

You can use your Google account to sync contacts stored on the Galaxy Note 2, after which the contacts can be transferred over to the LG device by re-syncing the contacts from the account with it. Synced contacts include their image, email address and any other details provided in the contact.

    1. Sign in with your Google account on the Note 2
    2. From the home screen, press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
    3. Tap "My Accounts" > "Google"
    4. Tap your "email address" or "user name"
    5. Clear and mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts", or tap "Sync Now"
    6. On the LG G3 Cat.6, register the same Google account
    7. Tap "Apps" while viewing the home screen and go to "Settings"
    8. Swipe to "Personal"
    9. Tap "Accounts & sync"
    10. Select the account if necessary, and allow it to sync contacts with your smartphone

    Using the "Contacts" App:

Using the "Contacts" application and the "Import / Export" function, you can easily export the contacts stored on the Note 2 as a VCF file, which can then be transferred to the LG G3 Cat.6 via email or by using a computer.

    1. Launch the "Contacts" app on the Note 2
    2. Access the "Contacts" tab if necessary
    3. Optionally, press "Menu" > "Contacts to display" > "All contacts"
    4. Press "Menu" once again and tap "Import / Export"
    5. Tap "Export to SD card"
    6. At this step, you should write down the backup file's name for future use, before tapping "OK"
    7. Open the email application and start a new email
    8. Attach the vCard file to the email, and send it to your Gmail address
    9. Switch to the LG G3 Cat.6 and open the email
    10. Download the attached VCF file and launch the "Contacts" app
    11. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
    12. Select the location where the VCF is located
    13. Browse the file, select an account and import the VCF to the phonebook

NOTE: Once the vCard file has been created on the Note 2, it can be transferred over to the LG G3 Cat.6 by connecting both smartphones to a computer via USB, and manually copy-pasting the file to the LG's "sdcard" directory. Then, the file's contents can be imported as explained above, using "Import from…"

    Transferring Contacts via "Send Anywhere":

Last but not least, you can use third party apps such as "Send Anywhere" in order to transfer your contacts. This is an application that can be used for transferring contacts and various other types of files via a P2P connection, so you're not required to have access to a computer.

    1. Visit the Google Play Store and install "Send Anywhere" on both your Android handsets
    2. Open the application on both smartphones
    3. Pick up the Note 2, and tap "Send" > "Contacts"
    4. Mark the contacts you wish to share and tap "Send"
    5. Select a method of transfer. By tapping "Receive" on the LG, you can enter the randomly generated transfer code from the Note 2. As an alternative, tap "Generate QR Code" on the Note II, and scan the code with the LG smartphone's camera to begin the transfer
