The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are out and about, and for those of you who own a Lumia 929 but have also purchased the latest iPhone, you can use the steps below to sync / transfer your contacts, Gmail and calendar to your iOS device.

Setting Up a Google Account on the Nokia Lumia 929:

1. Tap "Settings" in the App list
2. Tap "Email + accounts"
3. If you're running Windows Phone 8, tap "Add an account" > "Google". (NOTE: on WP 8.1, you'll have to also tap "Connect")
4. Enter your email address and password
5. Tap "Sign in" > "Accept"

Your Google account email, calendar and contacts should now be synced to your phone

NOTE: To set up a Google Apps account, go to "Settings" > "Email + accounts" > "Add an account" > "Advanced setup", then type in your user name and password and "Next". Make sure to tap "Exchange ActiveSync"

Sync Your Google Account on the iPhone 6 / 6 Plus:

1. Tap "Settings" while on the home screen
2. Scroll to and tap "Mail, Contacts , Calendars"
3. Under "Accounts" tap "Add account"
4. Select "Other"
5. Under "Contacts", tap "Add CardDAV Account" to sync your Google contacts
6. Enter "google.com" in the "Server" field
7. Type in your Google account's username and password in the proper fields
8. Enter the account name in the "Description" field
9. Tap "Next"
10. To synchronize Google Calendar, tap "Add account"
11. Tap "Other"
12. Under "Calendars", tap "Add CalDAV Account"
13. Enter "google.com" in the "Server" field
14. Type in your Gmail address' username, password and description in the appropriate fields
15. Tap "Next"
16. Select to sync "Calendars" and / or "Reminders"
17. Tap "Save"
