    Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts:

NOTE: Using iTunes you can sync the contacts stored on your iPhone with a Google account. Once that's done, you can easily re-sync the contacts from the account with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. For this method you are required to have access to a computer with iTunes installed, which is also connected to the Internet

    1. Launch iTunes on the computer
    2. Using the proprietary USB cable, connect the iPhone to the PC
    3. After it connects, access the iPhone's summary page
    4. Go to the "Info" tab and mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
    5. Select "Google contacts" from the drop-down list
    6. Register your Google account in iTunes. In case you've already done this before, you can tap "Configure" and select an account from the list
    7. Click "Apply" and the syncing process will commence
    8. Once the contacts have been synced, register the Google account on the Note 4 and allow it to sync contacts with the device

    Using iCloud:

NOTE: If you have used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone, then your contacts are most likely backed up on your iCloud account. Using a computer hooked up to the Internet, you can access your iCloud account and export the contacts for Android use. To do so:

    1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
    3. Click "Contacts" and select the contacts you wish to export
    4. Click the cog wheel button
    5. Select "Export vCard" and wait for your computer to download the VCF file
    6. Import the file to "Google Contacts". Alternatively, connect the Note 4 to your computer and copy the VCF file to the phone's storage. Then, launch "Contacts", press "Menu" from the "Contacts" tab and tap "Settings" > "Contacts" > "Import / Export" and follow any additional self-explanatory steps

    Using "My Contacts Backup":

NOTE: My Contacts Backup is a third party iOS application that allows you to transfer contacts cross-platform without needing a computer. The app backs up your contacts in a VCF file, which can then be transferred over to the Galaxy Note 4 via email:

    1. Go to the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
    2. Open the application and tap "Backup"
    3. Once the backup file has been created, tap "Email" and start a new email with the vCard file attached to it
    4. Enter your own Gmail address as the email recipient and send it
    5. On the Galaxy Note 4, open the email and download the attached VCF file
    6. Import the file's contents using the "Contacts" application

    Using "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: Another third party application that can be used for contact transfer without needing a computer is "Send Anywhere". This is an Android and iOS app that uses a p2p connection to transfer contacts cross-platform. To use this method:

    1. Go to the App Store and install "Send Anywhere" on your iPhone
    2. Visit the Google Plays Store and install the app on the Galaxy Note 4
    3. Open the application on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" and select "Contacts"
    5. Mark the contacts you want to share and tap "Send"
    6. Select the desired transfer method. You can tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone in order to generate a code that can be scanned with the Note 4's camera to begin the transfer. Alternatively you can tap "Receive" on the Note 4, and enter the transfer code randomly generated on the iPhone
