    Audio File Transfer

    From a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max and your computer
    2. On the smartphone, swipe the "Status" bar down
    3. Ensure that your phone is connected as a media device
    4. An AutoPlay window should appear on the computer. From there, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
    5. Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the audio files you wish to use on your phone (that are stored on your PC)
    6. Copy the desired files and transfer them on your phone's storage
    7. After the transfer is done, click the "Mass Storage Device" icon from the system tray and eject your phone's storage
    8. Safely disconnect the phone from the PC

    From a Mac Computer:

NOTE: In case Samsung Kies is installed on your Mac, skip the first 3 steps below:

    1. Open the Internet browse on your Mac
    2. Visit Kies and click "Download for Mac OS"
    3. Follow the on-screen prompts to install Kies on the Mac
    4. Connect your Samsung Galaxy Grand Max to the Mac via USB
    5. Swipe the "Notification" bar down and tap "Media Device" if necessary
    6. Launch Kies on the Mac and click the "Folder" icon associated with "External memory" or "Internal memory"
    7. On the Mac, locate the audio files you wish to use as ringtones or notification sounds
    8. Drag the files and drop them in Kies
    9. After the transfer is done, eject the phone's storage and safely disconnect it from the computer
