NOTE: You can learn how you can back up your data on the HTC One ME by following this link.

    Restore Applications:

    1. Make sure your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network
    2. On the home screen, tap "Apps"
    3. Access "Settings" and swipe to "Personal"
    4. Tap "Backup and reset"
    5. Tap "Restore from HTC Backup" and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process

    Restore Contacts:

    1. Swipe to "Personal" in the phone's "Settings" menu
    2. Tap "Accounts & sync"
    3. If necessary add the Google account containing your contacts
    4. Press "Menu" > "Sync all"

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the HTC One M9 to the Mac via USB
    2. Double-click the virtual drive icon on the Mac, to open the phone's storage
    3. Open the file explorer on the Mac to locate the backed up files on your HDD
    4. Copy the files, and paste them in the desired "restore" location onto your phone's memory
    5. Once the transfer is complete, drag the phone's virtual drive into "Trash / Eject"
    6. You can now safely disconnect the One ME from the Mac
