Back Up Applications:

1. Access the “Settings” menu
2. Tap “iCloud”
3. Ensure your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network (otherwise iCloud won’t work)
4. If prompted, sign in with your Apple ID
5. Tap the slider associated with the apps you want to back up

Back Up Contacts:

1. Access “Settings”
2. Tap “iCloud” and make sure your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network
3. Sign in with your Apple ID if required
4. Tap “Contacts” and enable the switch associated with it
5. If prompted, select to “Merge” your contacts with your iCloud account

Back Up Media Files on Your Phone:

1. Go to “Settings”
2. Tap “iCloud”
3. Like before, make sure the phone is connected to Wi-Fi
4. If required, log in with your Apple ID
5. Tap “Photos”
6. Enable the slider associated with “My Photo Stream”
