the first one!

I just bought a new one!

I sadly have to replace my zenfone 5 (which i loved), due to accidentally sitting on it I was going to just simply by another one, but as they're discontinued, i decided to go with a zenfone 2 laser 5 inch (ze500kl). My question is, both phones have 2 gigs of ram, but the laser sports a quad core qualcomm (1.2ghz), compared to the 2Ghz dual core with hyperthreading that my previous zenfone had. Is this a downgrade? I can't justify spending money on a phone that was actually worse performance wise than the original model.
