    Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data with the Gigabyte phone.

    1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
    2. Launch iTunes on the PC
    3. In iTunes, click the iPhone to access the device’s summary page
    4. Go to the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With
    5. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts
    6. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account from the list
    7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
    8. After the sync is complete, switch to the Gigabyte phone and register the same Google account. Then, allow the account to sync contacts with your device

    Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access your account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

    1. Open the Internet browser on your computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
    3. Click “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
    4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
    5. After the vCard is downloaded on your computer, import it to “Google Contacts”. Alternatively, you can skip this step and instead:
    6. Connect the Essence 4 to your PC via USB, copy the vCard to the phone storage, and use the “People” application to import it to your phonebook

    Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require access to a computer, you can also use third party apps to transfer your contacts without a PC. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer your iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
    2. Launch the application
    3. Tap “Backup” and wait for the backup file to complete
    4. Once the file is done, tap “Email
    5. Make sure the backup file is attached to the email, then send it to your own address
    6. Switch to the Essence 4 and download the email attachment
    7. Using the “People” app, import the vCard’s contents to your phonebook

    Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Last but not least, Send Anywhere is a third party app for iOS and Android, which uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts without requiring a computer.

    1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Gigabyte GSmart Essence 4
    3. Open the application on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
    6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Essence 4’s camera, or tap “Receive” on the Gigabyte phone and manually enter the transfer code from the iPhone
