Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Lava X10 to your PC via USB
    2. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
    3. Make sure “Media device (MTP)” is turned on
    4. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    5. Navigate to the audio files on your PC and copy the ones you want to use on your phone
    6. Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Alarms” / “Notification” folders
    7. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the phone from the USB

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Tap “Sound” under “Device”
    4. Scroll to “Call ringtone & vibrate” and tap “Phone ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
    6. Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

    Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Go to “All Contacts”
    3. Tap the contact you want to assign a contact to
    4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
    5. Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    6. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Open the “Settings” menu
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
    3. Tap “Default Notification Sound” under “Sound”
    4. Select the notification you want to use
    5. Tap “OK”
