    Back Up App Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” in order to back up settings, account data, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account
    5. To allow your account to automatically restore app data the next time you sign in with your account, turn on “Automatic Restore”

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Go to “Settings”
    2. Tap “Accounts” and select an account type
    3. Tap the account you want to use for syncing your contacts
    4. Ensure “Contacts” is enabled and tap “Menu”
    5. Tap “Sync now”

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Asus Life to your PC via USB
    2. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen, and select “Media device (MTP)” if necessary
    3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the media files on your phone and copy them
    5. Transfer the files in the desired backup location on your PC
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Asus Life to your PC via USB
    2. Make sure "Media device (MTP)” is turned on from the notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files backed up on your PC
    5. Copy the files and transfer them back on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray, and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
