Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the ZTE Blade X9 to your computer via USB
    2. At the prompt, enable “Media device (MTP)”. Otherwise, swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen and enable the option from the notification area
    3. On the computer, launch the File Explorer
    4. Use the Explorer to locate the audio files on your computer
    5. Copy the desired audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folder(s)
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Change the Phone’s Ringtone:

    1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sound”
    4. Under “Call ringtone & vibrate”, tap “Phone ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone
    6. Tap “OK” to confirm
    7. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Tap the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” (icon shaped like a pencil)
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone
    6. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Access the “Settings” menu
    2. Under “Device”, tap “Sound & Notification”
    3. Tap “Default Notification Sound” under “Sound”
    4. Select the desired notification sound
    5. Tap “OK”
