Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Galaxy J1 Nxt and your computer
    2. On the phone’s home screen, swipe the “Status” bar down
    3. Make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
    4. On the computer, open the File Explorer
    5. Locate the desired audio files on your computer
    6. Copy the files and paste them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directories
    7. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

NOTE: Assuming Samsung Kies is already installed on the Mac, skip the first 3 steps.

    5. If necessary, swipe the “Status” bar down on the phone and turn on “Media Device (MTP)”
    6. Open Kies on the Mac and click the “Folder” icon associated with “Internal memory” or “External memory”
    7. Launch the File Explorer on the Mac and locate the desired audio files
    8. Drag the files and drop them in Kies
    9. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage by dragging the virtual drive from the desktop into the “trash can”
    10. Safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
