Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

1. Establish a USB connection between the LG K5 and your computer
2. On the phone’s home screen, slide the “Notification” bar down
3. In the notification area, make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
4. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
5. Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage and copy them
6. Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Alarms” / “Notification” folder(s). (NOTE: If the folders are missing you can create them manually under the “Media” directory)
7. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the Phone Ringtone:

1. Access the “Settings” menu
2. Scroll to and tap “Sound & Notification”
3. Tap “Ringtone” and select the ringtone you wish to use
4. Tap “OK” to confirm

Set a Custom Ringtone to a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Select the desired contact
3. Tap “Edit”
4. Tap “Ringtone”
5. Select the desired ringtone from the drop-down menu
6. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Sound:

1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
2. Access “Sound & notification”
3. Go to “Advanced settings”
4. Tap “More” > “Notification sound”
5. Select the notification sound you want to use and tap “OK” to confirm
