Back Up App Data:

1. While viewing the home screen, swipe the “Notification” bar down
2. Tap “Settings” in the upper-right corner of the screen
3. Tap “General”
4. Go to “Backup & reset”
5. Turn on “Back up my data”

Back Up Contacts Using an LG Account:

1. On the home screen, swipe the “Notification” bar down
2. Tap “Settings”
3. Go to “General”
4. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
5. Tap “Backup & Restore”
6. Tap “Back up data” and select “LG Cloud”
7. When prompted, sign in with your “LG Account”
8. Enable “Personal data” and deselect the other options
9. Expand the “Personal data” folder and ensure “Contacts” is selected
10. Tap Start”
11. When prompted with Back up completed”, tap “Done”

Back Up Contacts to the SD Card:

1. Go to “Settings”
2. Tap “General” > “Backup & reset”
3. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
4. Tap “Back data” and ensure “SD Card” is enabled
5. Select the items you want to back up
6. Tap “Start”
7. When prompted with “Backup completed”, tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files Using Your Phone:

1. On the home screen, swipe the “Notification” bar down
2. Access “Settings"
3. Go to “General” and tap “Backup & reset”
4. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
5. Select “Media data” and deselect the other non-media options
6. Expand the “Media data” directory and select the media files you want to back up
7. Tap “Start”
8. At the “Backup completed” message, tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

1. Establish a USB connection between the LG X Cam and computer
2. When prompted, select “File transfer (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the “Notification” area
3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
4. Using the Explorer, navigate to the media files located on your phone
5. Copy the media files and paste them in the desired backup location on your computer’s storage
6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the LG X Cam from the USB cord
