Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then re-sync the account data, including contacts, with the Galaxy S7 Active.

1. Launch iTunes on the computer
2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to the “Info” section
4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
5. Log in with your Google account in iTunes, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account
6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Galaxy S7 Active and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Samsung device

Transfer iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access your account and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click “Contacts”
4. Select the contacts to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
5. Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of the two steps below:
   
   • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or
   • Connect the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active to your computer via USB, copy the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require access to a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can also share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer contacts via email.

1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
3. After the backup file is created, tap “Email”
4. Compose a new email containing the vCard backup file as an attachment
5. Send the email to your own address
6. Switch to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, open the email, and download the attached vCard
7. Open “Contacts” and use the app to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use to transfer contact. The app is available on iOS and Android, and uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
2. Install the same app on the Samsung device from the Google Play Store
3. Open the app on both devices
4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
5. Select the contacts to share and tap “Send”
6. Lastly, select a transfer method. You can tap “Receive” on the Galaxy S7 Active and enter the transfer code from the iPhone, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Galaxy S7 Active’s camera
