Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Samsung Galaxy C7 and computer
    2. At the prompt, enable “Media device (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the desired audio files and copy them
    5. Paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB

Transfer Audio Files from a Mac:

NOTE: If Samsung Kies is already installed on your Mac computer, skip the first 3 steps.

    1. Open the Internet browser on the Mac
    2. Visit Kies Support
    3. Click “Kies 3 for Mac” and download & install Kies on the Mac
    4. Connect the Galaxy C7 to your Mac via USB
    5. Enable “Media device (MTP)” at the prompt, or from the “notification” area
    6. Launch Kies on the Mac
    7. Click the “Folder” icon associated with “Internal memory” or “External memory”
    8. Open the File Finder on the Mac and locate the desired audio files
    9. After the files have been transferred, eject the phone storage by dragging the virtual drive from the desktop and dropping it into the “trash can” icon
    10. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the Mac

Add Audio Files to the Ringtone List:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sounds & notifications”
    4. Tap “Ringtones & sounds” under “Sound”
    5. Tap “Ringtone”
    6. Select the desired ringtone
    7. Press “Back”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit”
    4. Tap “Ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone
    6. Tap “OK” > “Save”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Launch “Settings” and scroll to “Device”
    2. Tap “Sounds & notifications”
    3. Scroll to “Sounds” and tap “Ringtones and sounds”
    4. Select the desired notification type
    5. Select a notification sound
    6. Press “Back” to confirm and save the changes
