Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the HTC One S9 to your computer via USB
    2. When prompted, enable “Media device (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
    4. Copy the audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “notifications” directories
    5. After the transfer ends, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Tap “Personalize” > “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Apply”

Set a Custom Ringtone to a Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Launch “People” and select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Ringtone”
    4. Select the ringtone you want to use for the specific contact
    5. Tap “Apply”

    Change the Notification Alert:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “Sound & Notifications”
    3. Tap “Notification sound” and select the desired notification sound to use
    4. Tap “Apply”
