NOTE: You can learn how to back up data on the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro by visiting this thread.

Restore Contacts from a Samsung or Google Account:

    1. On your phone, sign in with the Google or Samsung account you used for backing up contacts
    2. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
    3. Under “User and Backup”, tap “Accounts”
    4. Select “Google” or “Samsung”, depending on the type of account you use
    5. Tap your “email address” or “user name”
    6. Enable “Sync Contacts”
    7. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Galaxy J3 Pro to your computer via USB
    2. When prompted, enable “Media device (MTP)”, or enable the option from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the media files backed up on your computer
    5. Copy the backup files and transfer them back on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder(s) they originate from
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Restore Media Files from a Mac Computer:

    1. Connect the Samsung device to your Mac via USB
    2. When prompted, enable “Media device (MTP)”, or turn the option On from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch Kies on the Mac
    4. Inside Kies, go to “Back up / restore”
    5. Click the “Restore” tab
    6. Check the boxes associated with “Music”, “Photos”, and other types of media files you wish to restore
    7. Click “Restore”
    8. Follow any additional on-screen steps that may follow to complete the restore
    9. Once done, drag the phone’s virtual drive from the desktop and drop it into the “trash can” to eject it
    10. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB
