Bump...

Hey everybody. I'm new here. I could rally use some help.

I've been on a Virgin Mobile pay as you go cell phone plan which I rarely if ever use, but I am forced to "top-up" every so often. It isn't a lot, but my current balance is now around 300.00 which I could never possibly use. I need to find a more suitable plan. They have a piss-poor phone selection that I could choose from that I could buy using my balance, but then I'd be stuck with an locked phone and forced to use one of their monthly cards which really don't suit me.

I really don't know anything about smartphones but I'd like to find something that would allow me to pay as I go for under $15.00 month. It would have to allow one of the phone offerings that I would purchase from VM.

Anyone got any tips/ideas? It really is a jungle out there. At my age it's hard to sift through everything to find a decent deal.
