    NOTE: You can visit this thread for a guide on how you can back up personal data on the LG Stylo 2 Plus.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Settings” cog icon
    3. Go to the “General” tab if necessary
    4. Tap “Backup & reset”
    5. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup” and select the desired backup file to restore
    6. Tap “Start”
    7. At the “Restored” prompt, tap “Done”
    8. If necessary, wait for your device to reboot

    Restore Contacts from an SD Card Backup:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
    5. Locate and select the SD card backup file you want to restore
    6. Tap “Start”
    7. At the “Restored” prompt, tap “Done”
    8. If necessary, wait for your device to reboot and complete the process

    Restore Media Files from Your Phone Storage:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to the “General” tab if necessary
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
    5. Locate and select the media backup files you want to restore
    6. Tap “Start”
    7. When prompted with “Restore completed”, tap “Restart” and wait for your device to reboot and complete the process

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the LG phone to your computer via USB
    2. Turn on “Media sync (MTP)” or “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups or the desired “.sbf” backup file you want to restore
    5. Copy and paste the file(s) on the phone storage
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
