    Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet you sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Sony device.

    1. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
    2. Open iTunes on the computer
    3. Access the “Info” section in iTunes and enable “Sync Contacts With
    4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu and sign in with your Google account (alternatively click “Configure” and select an existing account)
    5. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
    6. Once the sync is complete, switch to the Sony device and register the same Google account
    7. Allow the account to sync contacts with your phone

    Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

    1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account
    4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
    5. Once the vCard file has been downloaded, follow one of these steps:
      • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
      • Connect the Sony Xperia X to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it

    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require access to a computer, alternatively you can transfer iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Open the application
    3. Tap “Backup” to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
    4. Once done, tap “Email
    5. Make sure the vCard is attached to the email and send it to your own address
    6. Switch to the Sony device and open the email
    7. Download the attached vCard and use “Contacts” to import the file to your phonebook

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is a third party app for Android and iOS, which can be used to share contacts cross-platform without requiring a computer.

    1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Launch the same app on the Sony Xperia X via the Google Play Store
    3. Open the app on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
    6. Lastly, choose a transfer method. Example: you can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Sony Xperia X’s camera to begin the transfer, or tap “Receive” on the Sony device and manually enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
