Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the BlackBerry DTEK50 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files
    4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory under “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms”
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
    4. Under “Call Ringtone & Vibrate”, tap “Phone ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
    6. Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Access “Settings”
    2. Tap “Sound & notification” under “Device”
    3. Tap “Default Notification Sound” under “Sound”
    4. Select a notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm

    Enable / Disable Gmail Notifications:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Gmail”
    3. Tap “Menu” and go to “Settings”
    4. Select an email account to change the notification options for
