Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Galaxy C9 Pro to your PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
    4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
    5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Transfer Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

NOTE: If Samsung Kies is already installed on the Mac, skip the first 2 steps below.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the Mac and visit Kies Support
    2. Click “Kies 3 for Mac” and install Kies
    3. Once done, connect the Samsung device to your Mac via USB
    4. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    5. Open Kies on the Mac
    6. In Kies, click the “Folder” icon associated with “Internal memory” or “External memory”
    7. Launch the File Finder on the Mac and navigate to your audio files
    8. Drag the desired files and drop them inside Kies
    9. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage by dragging and dropping the virtual drive in the “Trash can” on the desktop
    10. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Add Audio Files to the Ringtone List:

    1. Launch “Settings” on the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro
    2. Go to “Device” and tap “Sounds & notifications”
    3. Under “Sound”, tap “Ringtones & sounds”
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “Back”

    Change the General Ringtone:

    2. Tap “Sounds and notifications”
    3. Under “Sound”, tap “Ringtones and sounds”
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and choose the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “Back” to confirm

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Select the contact you want to add a custom ringtone to
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
    5. Tap “Save”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sounds and notifications”
