Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the BlackBerry DTEK60 to your computer via USB
    2. Turn on “Media Device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the audio files on the PC storage and copy them
    5. Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” directories
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open the “Apps” drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
    4. Tap “Phone ringtone” under “Call Ringtone & Vibrate”
    5. Choose the desired ringtone
    6. Tap “OK”
    7. Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
    4. Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Sound & notification” under “Device”
    3. Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
    4. Select the notification sound you want to use
    5. Tap “OK”

    Enable / Disable Gmail Notifications:

    1. Launch “Gmail”
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    3. Select an email account to change its notification settings
    4. Tap the “Notification” check box ON or OFF
