    Back Up App Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings” and scroll to “Personal”
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings etc. to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored when signing in with your Google backup account

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for syncing
    4. Enable “Contacts”
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Archos Diamond 2 Note to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and use it to locate the media files on the phone storage
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer storage
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Archos Diamond 2 Note to your PC via USB
    2. Turn on “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups
    4. Transfer the backup files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directories they originate from
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
