Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Lenovo K6 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media device (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC storage
    4. Copy and transfer the desired audio files from the PC to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” directories
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
    3. Tap “Phone ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
    5. Optionally you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Tap and hold the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sound & Notification” > “Default notification ringtone”
    4. Select the desired notification alert
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm
