Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data and contacts with the Archos 50 Cobalt.

    1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
    2. Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone once it connects
    3. Access the “Info” section and enable “Sync Contacts With
    4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    5. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account
    6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
    7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Archos device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
    8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

    1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts
    4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings
    5. Click “Export vCard
    6. After the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of the steps below:
      • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
      • Connect the Android device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import it to your phonebook using “Contacts

    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can use third party apps to transfer contacts. My Contacts Backup is an app for iOS which can back up and transfer contacts via email.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard file of your iPhone contacts
    3. Tap “Email” once done
    4. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
    5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
    6. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard file
    7. Use “Contacts” to import the file to your phonebook

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use on Android and iOS to transfer contacts and other types of files, cross platform, through a peer-2-peer connection without requiring a computer.

    1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Archos 50 Cobalt
    3. Open the app on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
    6. Lastly, choose the desired transfer method on either one of the smartphones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
