    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, passwords and settings to your Google account
    5. To allow app data to be automatically restored when signing in with your Google account or reinstalling applications, turn “Automatic Restore” ON

    Back up & Restore Contacts Using a Google Account:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts” and select an account type
    3. Select the desired account to sync contacts with
    4. Check “Contacts” if necessary
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: You can restore contacts backed up on your Google account the next time you sign in with the backup account on the smartphone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the ZTE Tempo to your computer via USB
    2. Turn “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media files on the phone
    4. Copy the files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the PC
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the ZTE Tempo and computer
    2. Turn “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the PC storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directory they originate from
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
