    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: In case your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve battery life until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Apps” and ensure “All Apps” is checked in the drop-down menu at the top
    4. Select the desired application

    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Accounts”
    4. Select the desired account to change its sync settings

    Keep the Software Updated:

NOTE: Software updates can include improvements to battery life, so it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times. To check for OS updates:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if a new update is available
    5. If applicable, follow the on-screen prompts to do download and apply available updates. NOTE: The update process will require at least one reboot. Save any unsaved work before proceeding
