    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings” and scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, Wi-Fi passwords etc. to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for contact syncing
    4. Check the “Contacts” tick box if necessary
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: To restore contacts, sign in with your Google backup account and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Plum Axe Plus 2 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media Device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the media files on the phone storage
    5. Paste the files in the desired backup location on the computer storage
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Plum Axe Plus 2 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the media file backups on the computer storage
    5. Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder(s) they originate from
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
