    NOTE: For a guide on how to back up app data, contacts, and media files on the LG K4, you can visit this thread.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access the “General” tab if necessary
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Select the desired backup file
    6. Tap “Start” > “Done”

    NOTE: You may have to reboot your phone to complete the process.

    Restore Contacts from an SD Card Backup:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to the “General” tab if necessary
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Locate and select the SD card backup file you want to restore
    6. Tap “Start” > “Done”

    NOTE: you may have to restart your device to complete the restore.

    Restore Media Files Using Your Phone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “General”
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
    5. Locate and select the media backup files you want to restore
    6. Tap “Start”
    7. At the “Restore completed” prompt, tap “Restart”

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the LG phone to your PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” shade
    3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the backup or “.sbf” files you want to restore
    5. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the folder(s) they originate from
    6. After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
