    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up personal app data to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google backup account

    Back up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select the account type and account you want to use
    4. Enable “Contacts”
    5. If necessary, tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using the method above can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the XOLO Era 2X to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media files on the phone
    4. Copy and transfer the files to your desired backup location on the PC storage
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the XOLO device to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the computer storage
    5. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder they originate from
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
