    I live in Japan, in a small city near a mountainous area with spotty coverage. I'm trying to decide between buying a Japan-specific phone (few choices), or a China model (many choices).

    Here are the bands that they will have access to:

    Japan models: 3G 800MHz, 2100MHz. 4GLTE: 700MHz, 850MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz

    China models: 3G 2100MHz. 4GLTE: 1800MHz, 2100MHz

    Will my not having access to the lower Mhz bands with a Chinese model affect reception or quality of signal in a significant way?
