    Reset Network Settings:

NOTE: Resetting network settings will delete all connection data for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks etc. Additionally, background data sync, network selection mode, and data restrictive settings will be set to default.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “General Management”
    3. Tap “Reset” > “Reset network settings”
    4. Tap “Reset settings” and if necessary, enter your PIN
    5. Tap “Reset settings” to confirm

    Soft Reset via Hardware Buttons:

NOTE: A soft reset is designed to simulate battery removal, and the function can be useful if your phone is frozen, unresponsive etc. However this method won’t affect any personal data, settings etc.

    1. Press and hold “power” and “Volume down” at the same time
    2. Keep the buttons pressed for up to 45 seconds until the device reboots

    Hard Reset

NOTE: Unlike soft resetting, hard resetting will delete all user data on the phone’s internal memory and will return all settings to factory values. Data stored on the SIM and SD cards will not be affected by the hard reset. The SD card can be optionally formatted along with the phone being reset.

    Hard Reset via Settings:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Cloud and accounts”
    3. Tap “Backup and restore”
    4. Optionally, enable or disable “Back up my data” and “Restore”
    5. Tap “Back” to return to “Settings”
    6. Go to “General Management” and tap “Reset”
    7. Tap “Factory data reset” > “Reset device”
    8. If necessary, enter your PIN / password to proceed
    9. Tap “Continue” > “Delete all” to confirm

    Hard Reset via Android Recovery:

NOTE: If your phone crashes, freezes, or otherwise prevents you from hard resetting via Settings as described above, alternatively you can try resetting the device via Android Recovery, which can be accessed by performing a button combination.

    1. First ensure the phone is turned off
    2. Next, press and hold “Home” and “Volume Up”, and then press and hold “Power” too
    3. At the “Android” logo, release all buttons and wait for the Android System Recovery menu to appear
    4. Navigate the Recovery menu by pressing the volume buttons, and highlight “Wipe data / factory reset”
    5. Press “Power” to select the highlighted option
    6. Press “Volume down” repeatedly to highlight “yes – delete all user data”
    7. Press “Power” to confirm
    8. After the process is done, highlight “Reboot system now”
    9. Press “Power” again to confirm and reboot your phone
