    Disable Connectivity Features When Unused:

NOTE: By turning off the phone’s connectivity features when they are not in use (such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Hotspot) you can improve battery life in the long run.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the “Status” bar down
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Access the “Network” tab and scroll to “Connectivity”
    4. Tap “Tethering” > “Mobile hotspot” and disable the feature

    6. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Location”
    7. Tap “Mode” and enable “Battery saving (Networks only)”

    Temporarily Switch to 2G Networks:

NOTE: In case your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve battery life until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. If necessary, go to the “Networks” tab
    3. Scroll to “Connectivity” and tap “More”
    4. Tap “Mobile networks” > “Network mode”
    5. Enable “GSM only”

Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
    3. Scroll to “Phone Management”
    4. Enable “Battery saver” and select a battery percentage at which the mode enables automatically

    4. Tap “OK” to confirm

Disable Smart Settings Unused at Home:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access the “General” tab
    3. Scroll to “Smart functions” and tap “Smart settings”
    4. Turn the feature OFF

    Reduce Sync:

NOTE: By changing your accounts sync settings to reduce sync, you can improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access the “General” tab
    3. Scroll to “Personal” and access “Accounts & Sync”
    4. Optionally, disable “auto-sync data”
    5. Scroll to “Accounts” and select an account to change its sync settings and reduce sync

    Minimize Third Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect battery life even when not actively in use. As such, battery life can be improved in the long run by disabling or removing unused third party apps from the phone.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. If necessary, access the “General” tab
    3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Apps”
