    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically when signing in with your Google account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select the account type and account you want to use for contact syncing
    4. Enable “Contacts” if necessary and tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Micromax smartphone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Use the explorer to locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy the media files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the computer storage
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Micromax Bharat 2 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    4. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folders from where they originate
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
