My wife has an iPhone 6s. (I don't have a smartphone of any kind.) She receives text messages just fine unless they are group messages. I don't know the correct term, it's when someone sends to more than one person. Our service says they support this and it's a setting in the phone. But, googling it, the only thing discussed is sending group messages, not receiving them.

So, why doesn't she receive them?
