    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Personal”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up Wi-Fi passwords, settings, and app data to your Google account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, passwords, and settings to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or signing in with the backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type
    4. Select the account you want to use for the backup
    5. Ensure “Contacts” is enabled
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: You can restore the contacts by syncing them with your device the next time you sign in with your Google account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the BLU R2 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and paste the files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the BLU R2 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    5. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
