    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or signing in with your backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to sync contacts with
    4. Ensure “Contacts” is checked
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Micromax smartphone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the media files on the phone storage
    5. Transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Micromax device to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer storage
    5. Transfer the files back on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
