Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the LG device to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the desired audio files on the computer storage
    5. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” directories
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. If necessary, switch to “List view”
    3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Open the “Essentials” folder
    2. Open “Contacts” and select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “More”
    4. Go to “Ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

    Change Incoming Email Alert Settings:

    1. Open “Email”
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Accounts & Sync”
    4. Select the desired email account
    5. Enable “New Emails” under “Notifications”
    6. Tap “Notification sound” and select the desired notification ringtone
    7. Optionally, enable or disable “Vibrate”

    Change Emergency Alert Settings:

    1. Open “Messaging”
    2. Tap “Menu”
    3. Go to “Settings” > “Advanced settings”
    4. Tap “More” > “Emergency alerts”
    5. Under “Receive alerts” choose to disable “Imminent sever alerts”, “Imminent extreme alerts” and/or “AMBER alerts”
    6. Under “Sound and vibrate” choose to enable or disable “Alert vibration” and “Alert sound”
